Carol Ann Whitehead
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and on the Northern PowerWomen Power List, Carol Ann is Managing Director of The Zebra Partnership based in Stockport. Founded in 2000, it is a boutique agency based in Manchester that brings together freelancers in the fields of campaigns, event management and publishing on a project by project basis here in the UK and overseas. The agency was awarded Inclusive Companies Award ‘Certificate of Excellence’ in 2019.
An advocate for women’s rights, equality, diversity and inclusion, Carol Ann collaborated with FiLiA to bring their internationally recognised feminist conference to Manchester.
She is co-founder of the Pankhurst Centre based Global Ada Lovelace Wikieditathon, an initiative to improve diversity on Wikipedia and Director of ‘The People’s Hub’ an Action Partner for the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Carol Ann has delivered several lectures at the UN Youth Association in Denmark and is part of the UN Global Festival of Action in Germany. Winner of several awards including Mentor of the Year, Carol Ann is also Global Goodwill Ambassador.
