A Pan African Trade Pre-Summit Executive Roundtable event is to be held virtually on Thursday 25th March 2021. This is designed to be the precursor to a larger (hopefully) physical trade exhibition event in Manchester in September/October – the Pan African Trade Summit 2021. This game changing Summit will coincide with the 100thanniversary of the first Pan African Congress which was held in the UK.
The purpose of this virtual ‘Meet The Buyer’ and networking event is to:-
- introduce the Manchester supply chain to major buyers operating on the African continent, including the Africa Investor Group of companies which includes Unilever, Diageo and Clarke Energy
- provide opportunities for North West SMEs to meet potential African clients as well as local and African partners,
- leverage the deep cultural bonds and business connections of the African Diaspora living in the North West to help de-risk market entry for SMEs through partnerships, introductions and know-how.
- And access the specialist support of International Trade Advisors and UK Export Finance to help them export with confidence and win new customers.
